My favorite pet snake

If asked what my favorite snake is I would certainly reply the Tolucan ground snake (Conopsis lineata). Of course I am biased since I keep one as a pet.

We encountered the above specimen on our walk near the town of Las Vigas, Veracruz. Esme spotted the snake, which just had left the grass and was moving on the same road we were walking on.
