In the evening a very dense fog hid most of the city of Xalapa from view. I took the photo below from the open window of the part of our house I call the office, and which until recently was our bedroom.
I decided to take some more photos from our roof. We rent the top part of a building that looks like a castle tower. It has a flat roof surrounded with a low wall hence a good spot to take photos of Xalapa.
The above photo shows calle Hidalgo (Hidalgo street) into the direction of Parque los Berros. As you can see we have a bus stop across the street which has advantages and disadvantages. The latter mainly the noise of honking cars because too many drivers have a hard time at handling a wait of a minute or two. Because that's all it take. Sadly they daily noise pollute Xalapa with their selfish behavior.
Finally, the above photo shows Casa Regia, a hotel opposite of our house. To the left of the hotel you can see the PROFECO building (Procuradurķa Federal del Consumidor). PROFECO is an organization designed to protect consumers against abuses or fraud by companies operating in Mexico.
