Watercolor paintings of Xalapa, Veracruz

Sunday, April 11, 2004 | 0 comments

While searching for watercress pictures with Google using the Spanish name, berros, I came across some nice watercolor paintings of Xalapa, Veracruz made by Jamie Calkin. The Parque de los Berros, pictured in one of the paintings, is just a short walk from our apartment. We often go on Sundays to this little park.

Every Sunday there are many people visiting Los Berros, and there is a lot to do for children. They can rent electric cars to ride or bicycles. There is also a train, called "El Piojito", which means the little louse. There is also a nice playground, and last but not least many food and candy stands.
