While I was looking for scorpions Esme captured tree small tree frogs. When I returned from my unsuccessful trip she showed her catch to me. She released the frogs one by one so I could take photos. The tree frog shown above was the first to be released. Notice how well it blends in with the stone it's resting on and how the moss that grows on the stone seems to continue to grow on its lower back.
The above photo is part of the blog entry Exploring the riverbanks which has more photos of tree frogs and describes the habitat.
