Earlier this week Esme and I had decided to go hiking during the week since she was invited to a baby shower coming Saturday. At first we considered having the mother of a class mate looking after Alice after school and go on Wednesday but since I was very busy with work we moved our plans to today and just take Alice with us, especially since we try to make our trips educational as well.
But when I woke up in the morning the weather outside looked not good; a gray cloud cover and no sun. Moreover, I hadn't been able to sleep well during the night and felt very tired.
