When I moved a dead tree trunk I saw a large - about 6cm long - Polydesmid (flat-backed) millipede. I carefully put the animal on top of the trunk so I could make some photos, but it immediately rolled up into a tight spiral.
After waiting some time the millipede unrolled itself and started to look for a hiding place and I was able to make the above photo.
