We found this female black widow spider with egg sac hiding under a flat stone on our way to the barranca (canyon) near Chavarillo, Veracruz.
When I look under stones I am always very careful not to put my hands underneath the stone too much, since I might grab into a black widow spider that way, and probably get bitten.
