We saw this group of cactuses near the entry of the town of El Limón Totalco. In this town you can see often cactuses growing in front, and on top of walls made out of stacked volcanic rocks. The cactuses are cut and thrown on top of the walls, and after some time cover the wall and protect it like a natural and cheap alternative to barbed wire. When we visited the place in May we saw a lot of flowering cactuses, probably the time of the year.
