More than 24 hours after reporting that we had no Internet connection to Megacable, Esmeralda called them again. And she was told that 24 hours means somewhere between 24 and 48 hours, during business hours only. Since the technical support doesn't work on Sunday, we were told to hold our breath until Monday, or even Tuesday.
I was extremely angry at this lack of professionalism Megacable showed. Support within 24 hours means 24 hours. Also, since I am paying for a business Internet connection, which is quite expensive even compared to prices for Internet connectivity say in the Netherlands, I expect some degree of support. Moreover, in Xalapa there are many Internet cafes relying on Megacable for their connectivity. If they have to wait 3 or 4 days for their Internet connection to work again, they lose a lot of money.
