Since it had been about 2 weeks since the last time I fed the second instar Centruroides gracilis scorpions that are still living with their mother, and I didn't have pinheads (baby crickets), I decided to give a pre-killed superworm - a larva of the darkling beetle (Zophobas morio) - a try. And shortly after I had put the larva inside the enclosure, several tiny scorpions had surrounded it, eating the liquids coming out of the larva's body.
