The above photo was taken during our hike south of San Gabriel Chilac (Puebla, Mexico). It shows the surroundings of the super-highway Cuacnopalan-Oaxaca near Chilac; shrubs, low trees, yuccas, and cactuses. The photo was taken looking to the south. I am standing on a dirt road when followed to the north, bends to the north-east just before a bridge that crosses the Zapotitlán river, and then goes straight to San Gabriel Chilac.
