In the evening I noticed that the snake I keep as a pet, a Tolucan ground snake (Conopsis lineata) was close to another shedding: both eyes looked cloudy or milky and the color of the body was closer to brown then the "plastic grey" it normally is. I decided to take a few close-up photos with my new Canon PowerShot A640.

John, is the Canon PowerShot A640 what you use all of the time of just what you use for indoor stuff? The images look pretty good for something without massive lenses, etc!
