Yesterday in the night we lost our Internet connection. The cable modem reported no cable signal. At first I thought the weather had caused our cable to become disconnected. The cable is "professionally" dangling across the street, carrying several other cables, so it wouldn't have been a suprise. Esmeralda called Megacable, our Internet Service Provider, in the early morning and was told someone would come over to check our connection between 1 and 24 hours.
Since I could not connect to the Internet, I moved a lot of the content belonging to this site from plain text files to XML files and worked more on the Perl program that creates the HTML files of this site from the aforementioned XML files.
