By releasing a free player for virtual machines, VMware made more available then most people guessed. Besides being able to play pre-built Virtual Machines it can also run the ones you create with a freeware program.

Does anyone know how to get the VMWare player to see the hard drive belonging to the host? USB connected drives are fine, but not local ones...?
