During our walk on Aguacatal road in Coatepec, we spotted this beautiful White Angled-Sulphur (Anteos clorinde) at the edge of a puddle on a dirt road perpendicular to Aguacatal road.
Several times it flew up, showing yellow patches on otherwise mostly white wings, the memory of which helped me later on to identify this large butterfly at home.
The butterfly was sharing the puddle with another large Sulphur: the Tailed Sulphur (Phoebis neocypris virgo)
This butterfly photo is part of the blog entry Aguacatal road, which has more photos of this specimen.
